You are going to give a talk about shopping. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes.

Remember to say:

whether you like shopping, why/why not

how often you go shopping and what kind of things you buy

what you prefer: going to shops or shopping online, why

I’m going to talk about shopping.

To begin with, it’s common knowledge that shopping is an important part of our life. Everyone goes shopping at least once a week. Personally, I like shopping because I can choose whatever I want. It takes my mind off any problems I have and raises my spirits.

Actually, I usually go shopping with my parents once a week. We often go to a shopping centre at the weekend. We buy food, cosmetics, household goods, stationery goods, clothes and furniture together. Sometimes I do the shopping with my friends. Besides, I adore going to bookshops.

As for me, I prefer going to shops because I can see and try on what I’m going to buy.

In conclusion, I’d like to say that shopping is fun and it unites people.

That’s all I wanted to say about shopping.
